Tips for adjusting the color of a picture

A good picture, in addition to have good content, color and level sense must also be trenchant. As shown in Figure 1 of the photo material, the content is very good, but the whole picture of the hierarchy is not clear enough, the color is not full, below we will use Photoshop to color the image adjustment.

The specific steps are as follows:

The first step: Start Photoshop CS3, select the "file → open" (shortcut key Ctrl+o) command in the menu bar to open the photo footage. Then expand the Layers panel, drag the background layer to the Create new Layer button below, and create a new layer-the background copy layer.

Step two: Increase the brightness of the photo. Select the image → adjust → curve command in the menu bar to open the Curves dialog box. In which you gently move the curve upward, we can see that as the curve moves, the photo is like a spray of air freshener, become very clear, as shown in Figure 2, to the appropriate angle after the "confirm" can be.

Knowledge Tip: You can adjust the hue and color of an image by changing the shape of the curve in the Curves dialog box. Moving the curve up or down will brighten or darken the image, depending on whether the dialog box is set to show levels or to show percentages. The steeper part of the curve represents a region with a higher contrast, and the flat portion of the curve represents a lower-contrast area.

Step three: Adjust the color of the photo.

Select the image → adjust → hue/saturation command in the menu bar to open the Hue/Saturation dialog box. First we make the green in the picture greener. Select Green in the Edit Drop-down list box, and then drag the hue, saturation, and lightness sliders appropriately, and observe the color changes in the photos until the trees and lawns reach our requirements, as shown in Figure 3.

Then according to the above method of operation, respectively, the color of the picture is not full of parts to adjust. Finally, the "full picture" for hue, saturation adjustment, so that the whole picture looks gorgeous and colorful, hierarchical, the final effect as shown in Figure 4. is more beautiful than the original material picture!

Summary: When it comes to using Photoshop for post-processing photos, a lot of people will think it's not a very troublesome thing. What we do at the end of the process is to make up the flaws of the photos as much as possible, no matter what means, tools, as long as to achieve the purpose of the line.
