At the end of each period, I had to sort out some documents for students to relearn. I encountered a difficult problem when I used Word to explain the terms. There were hundreds of prepared terms, you need to set the nouns at the beginning of each paragraph to black to highlight (1), but it is too troublesome to set them one by one. It is found that the glossary you have compiled has one thing in common, that is, there is a colon after the nouns that need to be bold. With this feature, we can use the text conversion table feature in Word2010 to easily implement bulk bold settings for nouns. TIPS because the text conversion table function can only recognize half-width characters, if you are using a full-width colon, select "replace" in the "edit" group on the "Start" tab ". Enter a full-width colon in "search content" in the "search and replace" window, "Replace with", enter a half-width colon, and then click "replace all" to convert.
Press Ctrl + A to select all text, switch to the insert tab, and click table to select convert text to table from the drop-down list ", in the displayed window, select the "other characters" option and enter a half-width colon (2) in the input box ). You do not need to enter the number of rows or columns. Press Word to automatically calculate the number of columns displayed. After clicking "OK", the full text will be converted into a table. The first column of the table is the noun text that needs to be bold at the beginning of each segment, and the second column is the explanation of the noun. You just need to point the mouse to the side of column 1st. When the cursor turns to the downward arrow, click the left button to select all the terms in column 1st and set them to bold. After setting, move the input cursor to the table, switch to the "layout" tab of "Table tool", and click "convert to text ". In the "Convert table to text" window, select the "other characters" option and enter a half-width colon in the input box (Figure 3 ). Click OK to restore the original text. Of course, all the terms are bold. After you use this method to add a rough noun, if you want to select all nouns at the same time to modify the format, you only need to right-click any bold term and select "style> select similar text" to quickly select all terms for setting. NOTE: If TIPS contains a colon in the description, the converted table will contain more than two columns. After being restored to text, the colon will appear at the end of each segment. Replace ": ^ p" with "^ p" to quickly delete the end colons of all rows ("^ p" is "enter "). Author shuangmu baby
