• Quickly add a border to a table
If you don't want to design a particular border, it is most convenient to add a border to the table directly with the grid line of the system:
To perform the file → page Setup command, open the Page Setup dialog box (figure), switch to the Sheet tab, select the Gridlines option under Print, and make sure you return and then print, and the table has a border.
Note: ① This setting is valid only for the currently active worksheet. ② you add a border with this method, the title of the table is also framed.
• Quickly add a normal border
Take the above method to add the border, even the table's large headings are added to the periphery, affecting the table's perception. We can add a border like this:
You can quickly add a border to a table by using the Borders button on the Formatting toolbar: Select a range of cells that you want to add a border to, click the Border button on the Formatting toolbar, and then, in the Drop-down list that pops up, select a line style (such as all borders).
• Set color border
We often use Excel to make a table and then copy it to PowerPoint for a demo, so we want to set some colored special borders.
Select the range of cells you want to add a border to, and perform the format → cell command. Open the Format Cells dialog box, switch to the Borders tab (figure), set the line style and color, and then the preset border position, after all settings are complete, make sure you return.
Note: Be sure to set the style and color first, and then set the position!
