Tips for detecting whether an SQL Server database can be connected

Sometimes you may need to check whether the services of a machine are up, or whether a database of a machine can be connected, cannot open ssms, and do not want to log on to the server.

1. Right-click the desktop to create a text file, change the suffix to udl, and save it (1.udl). As for what udl is, you can skip this section here.

Note: udl (Universal Data Link) is a Universal Data connection file that uses a Universal Data Link (UDL) file to save the connection string.

2. After Opening this file, enter the Server ip address (because I used the Instance name on the local machine) and the user name and password to test the connection. Is it very convenient.
