In Word2010, a table editor has no features, shading and borders are important. Editors can not only set table borders directly within the ribbon, but also open shading and border windows.
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window, and in the Word table, select the cell or the entire table where you want to set the border. Switch to the Design tab in the Table Tools Ribbon, click the Border Drop-down button in the table Styles group, and select borders and Shading in the border menu, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, switch to the Borders tab in the open Borders and Shading dialog box, and select a border display location in the Settings area. which
(1) Select the "None" option to indicate that the selected cell or entire table does not display a border;
(2) Select the box option to show only the surrounding border of the selected cell or entire table;
(3) Select "All" to indicate that the selected cell or entire table displays all borders;
(4) Select the gridlines option to indicate that the selected cell or entire table Four week is a thick border with a thin border inside;
(5) Select the "Custom" option to indicate that the selected cell or entire table is displayed by the user in accordance with the actual need to customize the border, not just the four display states, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, in the Styles list, select the style of the border (for example, a double line, dots, and so on), select a color for the border in the Color Drop-down menu, and click the Width drop-down button to select the width dimension of the border. In the preview area, you can click a border button in a direction to determine whether the border is displayed. Set Finish Click OK, as shown in Figure 3.

But now most of the friends, in Word edit table is not going to set borders and shading, one fear of trouble, and secondly is a simple form to display information, there is no need to set up so fancy.
