Step 2: If you find that xen exists in your kernel, you are on the Virtual Machine Platform. I cannot install a video card driver on a virtual machine platform, nor do I mean I cannot. Step 3: Press Ctrl + Alt + BackSpace to enter the character interface and use root to log on to the system, enter the graphical interface and enter the init 3 command in shell to enter the character interface.

Step 4: Enter the video card driver directory on the Character interface and use it. /NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.08-pkg1.run start installation pop-up the first screen Select Accept allow installation, then pop-up the second screen choose not through the network update to start the installation, and finally choose to enable the driver comes with the configuration software.

Step 5: Enter the command init 5 to enter the graphic interface. If the graphic interface reports an error, the rboot system will start.
