How to set wireless network sharing

1. In the computer taskbar, click the network icon, and then click "Network and Sharing Center". In the displayed page, click "Change adapter configuration", as shown in the figure.

2. On the modify adapter configuration page, find the local connection and right-click "properties ".

3. In the pop-up window, click the "share" option, and then set "allow others to share internet connections" to "allow other network users to control or bind shared internet connections (0 )"

4. After setting, click "OK" and the system will automatically return to "change adapter settings". Then, we will find "wireless network connection", right-click the menu bar, and select "properties" as follows.

5. Click "network" in the wireless network connection dialog box, and then double-click "TCP/IPV4" in the following items for connection. The ip address and dns settings dialog box will pop up. Enter p change: ip: 192.168.0.1 subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1 preferred DNS server: 192.168.0.1 alternate do not fill in and click OK.

 

6. The above is set by our wireless machine. If the extension is to be set, we will also set the IP address in step 5 and step 6, but the IP address is different. The extension also changes the ipv4 address in the wireless Nic attribute. Different from the host, the IP address must be 192.168.0.X (X can be any 0 ~ 255). Other values are set to the same as those of the host.

7. The basic settings are complete.

Service Startup Settings

1. Go back to the desktop and right-click "computer"-> "manage", as shown in the following figure.

2. Go to "Computer Management", find "services and applications" on the left-> "services", and then find the InternetConnectionSharing (ICS) bit.

3. Right-click "ICS service"-"properties"

 

4. In the dialog box that appears, set "general"-set the startup type to "automatic" and click "Start"
