1. When you drag a guide, you can toggle between the vertical and horizontal guides by pressing the ALT key. By pressing the ALT key, you can change it to a horizontal guide by clicking on the current vertical horizontal line, and vice versa.
Note: The guides are generated by dragging them out of the ruler of the document, so make sure the rulers are open [Ctrl+r] (Views > Rulers)
2. Pressing the SHIFT key to drag guides forces them to align the ruler's increment/flag.
3, to prevent the guide line to align the edge of the canvas and layer objects, just drag the CTRL key while dragging.
4. Double-click the guides to open guides, grids, and slices [Ctrl+k, ctrl+6] (Edit > Preferences > Guides, grids, and slices).
5, you can use the path to create curves or diagonal guides. You only need to paint on one path using the Brush tool and use it as a guide when drawing (this path will remain visible).
Tip: Use the show target path (View > Show > Target path) command to trigger the visibility of the path.
6, the Guide line can not only be aligned to the left, right, top and bottom of the active layer layer or the edge of the selected area, but also to the current layer or selection of the vertical and horizontal center alignment. The converse also applies: You can align a selected area or layer layer to the current guide, either through the edge or the center.
Note: The guide line cannot align the background layer. Also, make sure that view > alignment and View > Alignment to > Guides are checked to work in the way described above.
Tip: You can find the center of the canvas by populating a new layer and aligning a guide with the vertical and horizontal center.
7. To add a guide to the location specified on the canvas, you can use the View > New Guides command. This is useful for placing guides in an action.
8. Open the dialog box using the View > Show > Show Extra Options command to set which objects in the screen are included or not included when you select View > Show extra content.
9. When you select the image > Rotate canvas > Horizontal flip Canvas or flip the canvas vertically, use the View > Lock Guides Command to prevent the guide from flipping over the canvas.
Select unit of measurement
10. After displaying the ruler with the view > ruler, 3lian footage, double-click on the ruler to open the units and rulers option, which is the equivalent of opening with Edit > Preferences > Units and rulers.
Tip: You can also click the Cursor coordination pop-up menu in the "info" floating panel to select a new unit of measurement.
Move ruler origin
11. Center The ruler origin anywhere on the canvas by dragging in the upper-left corner. To preset the origin to its default location, you can do so by double-clicking the position in the upper-left corner.
