Tips for using hunchentoot and Chinese encoding in clozure Cl

Since clozure Cl documents are too bad and incompatible with slime and Cl-fad, it may cause some problems when loading hunchentoot and using Chinese characters. Here is a bypass method:

 

1. the CCL: delete-directory function conflicts with the fad function of the same name. Therefore, run the following command first:

 

(SETF * default-file-character-encoding *: UTF-8)

 

2. Chinese encoding: first execute the following statement to set the encoding of The LISP source file.

 

(SETF * default-file-character-encoding *: UTF-8)

 

None of these are reflected in the CCL documentation. Google found a solution in just half a day.

 

CCL still has many advantages. I think it supports multiple threads on various platforms, which is better than sbcl.
