USB to serial port settings:
In Windows, super terminals can be used to connect switches, routers, and other industrial devices. in Windows, usb-to-serial ports also have drivers. but how can I use them in Linux?
First, you need to have a Linux terminal software called minicom. if you do not have a friend installed with this software, you can download it in your own source, and then you need to plug in your usb-to-serial line, in Linux, there is almost no driver for the Usb-to-serial line. after you plug it in, you should have a ttyUSB0 file in your dev directory. if so, congratulations, your line is now available. Enter the terminal and enter su to log on as the root user. to use minicom, you must use the root user, and then enter minicom-s to set it. after entering the settings page, you will see several options:
Filename and Paths, File transfer and protocols, Serial port setup, Modem and dialing, Screen and keyboard, Save setup as df1, Save setup ...... , Exit from minicom
Go to Serial port setup
Enter the option letter
Change the first item to A-Serial Device:/dev/ttyUSB0.
Item 2: B-lockfile Location:/var/lock
Item 5: E-Bps/par/Bits: 57600 (this value should be changed to the baud rate of your connected device)
Item 7: F-Hardware Flow Control: yes
Then exit to enter the Modem and dialing
Remove the values of A-initing string B-Rest string K-Hang-up string.
Then EXIT and select Save as df1, and then select exit from minicom to which the terminal has been set.
Next, you can connect your serial port to the device, and then enter minicom in the terminal to debug the device.
