For a slightly older user, CMD, a command prompt, is a very common feature that many optimizations and setup operations are inseparable from, whether in XP, Vista, or Windows 7, and here are the Windows Vista and Windows 7 of tips for the command prompt itself.
1. Customize the color of the command prompt
By default, the command prompt is displayed in black and white, and to change the color of both is actually very simple, click on the Black Small icon in the upper left corner-Properties. Then select your own appropriate color in the Color tab. You can also customize the font, window layout, and so on.
2. Copy and paste
At the command prompt, you cannot use the shortcut keys for CTRL + C and CTRL + V to complete the copy and paste operation. To copy, you need to use the mouse to select the part you want to copy, and the right button will automatically copy.
Also, if you need to use shortcut keys, you can select Quick Edit mode in the properties to implement it.
3. Fast input file path
In many command-prompt-related optimizations and setup operations, you need to enter the full file path, in which case we can drag and drop it. Drag the file to the command prompt, and the full file path is entered.
4. The file path is completed automatically
When you enter a file path, we can just enter the previous part of the file path, such as E:\, and then press the TAB key to switch between the optional files.
5. Historical records
To quickly select the command you entered last time, simply press "↑" and the next command can be selected with "↓". The complete history can be viewed by pressing F7.
6. Full Screen mode
Starting with Vista, the alt+enter switch full-screen mode is no longer supported.
