TK1 ~ Developing Ros based on eclipse

One: Install Eclipse

1. Download the Eclipse installation package: Eclipse

2. Download the JDK installation package: JDK

3, follow the following steps to execute

1) Move the downloaded file to the OPT directory

sudo mv eclipse-sdk-4.2. 1-linux-gtk.tar.gz/opt/

2) Unpack the installation package

cd/opt/sudo tar xzvf eclipse-sdk-4.2. 1-linux-gtk.tar.gz

3) Create a desktop shortcut file in the/usr/share/applications directory

sudo gedit/usr/share/applications/eclipse.desktop

4) Fill in the file with the following content

[Desktop Entry]
Name=eclipse
Type=application
Exec=bash-i-C "/opt/eclipse/eclipse"
Terminal=false
icon=/opt/eclipse/icon.xpm
comment=integrated Development environment
Nodisplay=false
Categories=development;ide
Name[en]=eclipse.desktop

5) Drag (or copy) the Eclipse.desktop under/usr/share/applications/to the desktop.

4. Install JRE to eclipse directory

1) Unzip the downloaded JDK

sudo tar xzvf jdk-8u131-linux-x64.tar.gz

2) Enter the extracted directory jdk1.8.0_131 copy the JRE to the Eclipse directory

CD jdk1.8.0_131/
sudo cp-r jre//opt/eclipse

5. Double-click the desktop icon to start eclipse
