TL-WDR6510 wireless router network settings?

A wireless router can achieve broadband sharing and provide wired and wireless access networks for computers, mobile phones, laptops, and other terminals in the LAN.

This article guides you to quickly set up a router to access the Internet through a TL-WDR6510 screen.

Procedure

Step 1: Set the connection network

Based on your broadband line type, refer to the following line connection dynamic diagram:

Note:The wide line must be connected to the WAN port of the router. The WAN port color is different from that of the LAN port. The computer connects to any port 1, 2, 3, or 4.

 

1, Touch pen removal

Remove the touch pen from the side of the router near the antenna, as shown in the figure below:

Tips for using a touch pen:If multiple parameters need to be set on a page, enter the keyboard, enter the corresponding parameters, and click NextAnd click DoneYou can.

2Set the administrator password

When you click the screen with a touch pen, you need to set the administrator password. ClickSet password, Set the router administrator password, as shown in the following figure:

Note:The administrator password must contain at least six digits or letters.

After setting the administrator password, clickNext Step, As shown in the following figure:

Note:If the administrator password is different twice, the system prompts and requires the same password.

1 Start setting Wizard

ClickStart, As shown in the following figure:

2, Select the Internet access method

The vro automatically detects the Internet access method. If the detected Internet access method is different from your internet access method, select it manually.

If you use the bandwidth account and password allocated by the carrier for broadband dial-up access, follow the instructions in the article to continue setting. For static or dynamic IP addresses, click the corresponding button and refer to the setting process:

The vro automatically detects the Internet access method. If the detected Internet access method is different from your internet access method, select it manually.

The vro automatically detects the Internet access method. If the detected Internet access method is different from your internet access method, select it manually.

3Enter the bandwidth account and password

Click the broadband account and enter the Internet broadband account provided by the carrier, as shown below:

Check that the bandwidth account password is correct. Click Next Step.

Note:Many users cannot access the Internet due to incorrect bandwidth account and password. Please carefully check whether the broadband account and password are correct. Make sure that both Chinese and English letters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and suffixes are entered completely.

After the configuration is complete, the vro will establish a network connection. After the connection is successful, click Confirm.

Note:If the connection fails after multiple settings, confirm that the password of the broadband account is correct and try again.

4 , Wireless settings

Click the Wireless name to set your wireless network name and password.

Note:The wireless password must be at least 8 characters long. It is recommended that you set a combination of numbers and letters to ensure wireless security.

After the settings are complete, make sure the settings are correct and click Next Step.

Guest network is enabled by default. If you do not need a guest network, you can disable the network status and click Next Step.

Note:The guest network can provide wireless networks for the guests. After the guests connect to the network, they can only access the internet and cannot access other wireless devices in the LAN.

5 , Set

The setting wizard is complete. Click Restart now.

Now, the network connection is successful and the vro has been set up. Your Desktop can directly connect to the 1, 2, 3, and 4 LAN ports of the vro, and connect your laptop or mobile phone to the set Wireless name (zhangsan) or guest SSID without any operation, directly open the web page to access the Internet.
