To install xbmc in ubuntu10.10, enter (1) sudo apt-Get install Python-software-properties PKG-config (2) sudo.

Julia, first we need to install some dependencies, to do that open
Terminal and copy the commands bellow:

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties pkg-config

The packages for Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 (32-bit and 64-bit) are

Following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install xbmc xbmc-standalone
