To partition the hard disk with XP and 2003 self tools

When we get a very low-level formatted hard drive, the first step is to partition the hard drive before you can make advanced formatting and install the operating system further. However, in the partition of the hard disk with Fdisk, the full screen of English, complex operation will make some computer users feel at a loss, difficult to start. Had to ask a computer veteran to help. It is painful to put on a human being and lose time. In fact, the partition operation of the hard disk can be easily done in the Chinese interface of Windows operating system, you are fully capable of DIY. The only condition is that you or your friend has a computer with a Windows XP operating system installed for you to use. Gossip less, and see the author of the installed win 2003 operating system as an example slowly way:

Set up the master and slave disk for the hard drive you want to partition, and then receive the computer that has the win XP or WIN 2003 operating system installed. On, the system self-test detects the hard drive if your master and slave disk is set correctly. But, in my computer, you don't see this new stuff. Open Administrative Tools in the Control Panel Classic View and, on the Administrative Tools page that appears, double-click the Computer Management icon to appear as shown in Figure 1,

Click the Next button, and in the next disk initialization and Conversion wizard page, select the disk 1 as the download for the Deep XP system for the disks to initialize and convert (Figure 3, 4).

Click the "Next" button to close the wizard by clicking the "Finish" button in the next Figure 5 page. Disk 1 is attached to this computer, as shown in Figure 6.

Right-click the disk 1 block and select New disk partition (N) from the shortcut menu that pops up., go to the New Disk Partition Wizard page, click Next to enter the "Select partition Type" page, select "Primary disk Partition" and click "Next" to enter "Specify Partition size" The page can be delimited by the size of its own needs, as shown in Figure 7.

Click "Next" to enter the "Assign Drive Letter and path" page, which you can decide whether to assign. If you assign a drive letter, you can see the new partition in My computer, and it doesn't matter if you don't assign it, as shown in Figure 8.

Click "Next" to enter the "format Partition" page, you can create a new partition format, you can select the "FAT", "FAT32", "NTFS" These three types, and you can choose to enter a quick format, see Figure 9.

After clicking "Next" and clicking the "Finish" button on the "Completing the New Partition Wizard" page, the system returns to the Computer Management page and completes the creation of the primary partition for that hard disk, as shown in Figure 10. You can then create an unassigned partition in the same way, but note that extended disk partitions must be selected on the Select partition Type page.

Finally, don't forget to right-click the new primary partition on the Computer Management page and select "Mark disk partition as active" in the pop-up menu. Right-click on the newly created extended disk partition to create a new logical drive operation. If you want to divide the extended disk partitions into multiple partitions, just do it a few more times.
