To publish the OWA for Exchange 2010 with ISA 2006 Standard Edition: Extranet clients

Open IE browser on the client, enter Https://mail.loveunicom.com/owa in the Address bar, the first time to open the address will be a little time-consuming. If the previous configuration is not a problem, you will see the OWA login interface shown in Figure 1. Of course, in order to access the URL normally, you need DNS support, the DNS server to which the client points must have a record to associate the URL with the IP address of the ISA extranet network card. In my experimental environment did not set up a DNS server, so I in the client's host file directly configured a record, can also achieve the purpose of correct resolution.

In this login page, enter the username and password of the user who owns the intranet mailbox, and then click the "Login" button to log in to the user's mailbox as shown in Figure 2.

At this point, employees on business trips or branch offices in different locations can use the browser to log into their own mailboxes to deal with the business.

Based on the assumptions in the first article in this series, many technical details are omitted from this article. In addition, the ISA Server in this article is the standard version in the workgroup, which is slightly different from the configuration of ISA located in the domain, mainly in the various authentication methods, interested friends can study. Specifically, the topology used in this article is highly integrated, with all 4 roles of Exchange Server installed on the DC and no Unified Messaging service installed. This arrangement cannot be said to be in the real world, but it is dangerous to avoid such a plan. In short, mastered the basic principles, no matter how the network structure changes, but also only the details of the adjustment, I hope that we should be flexible in the actual work to master.
