1. Click "Edit" in the menu bar and select "Preferences" in the Drop-down menu that pops up.
2, in the Preferences dialog box, select General from the Category list on the left.
3. In the Document Options section of the General preferences, select an option from the Update link on Move file pop-up menu, which is "prompt," and then click OK to complete the setup.
Attention matters
The three options in the option to update links when moving files mean the following:
Always: Refers to automatically update all links to and from a selected document whenever you move or rename it.
Never: Refers to not automatically updating all links to and from a selected document when you move or rename it.
Tip: Displays a dialog box that lists all the files affected by this change. Click Update to update the links in these files, and click Do not update to keep the original file unchanged.
