A shadow effect on a word WordArt object can only render a more perfect effect if the background color fill is set, otherwise only part of the shadow effect, such as perspective, will be difficult to achieve. For the overall WordArt object, the shadow effect setting steps are as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word document window and click the WordArt object to make it editable.
2nd step, in the drawing tools/Formatting ribbon, click the Shape Effects button in the Shape Styles group, as shown in the figure.
Click the Shape Effects button
Step 3rd, open the Shape Effects menu and point to the shadow option. Select a shadow effect in the shadow list, such as selecting the upper-right diagonal perspective effect in the pivot group. The WordArt in a Word document displays the effect of applying the shadow in real time, as shown in the figure.
Select Shadow Effect
If the user needs to set the shadow effect in more detail, you can select the shadow Options command in the Shadow list, as shown in the figure.
Select the Shadow Options command
On the Shadow tab of the Open Format Shape dialog box, the user can set the current shadow effect by color, transparency, size, blur, angle, and distance settings to achieve more realistic shadow effects, as shown in the figure.
