After the Win8 consumer preview version is installed, many friends have encountered the problem that the network cannot be connected. This problem is largely due to the NIC driver problem. Here is a simple solution.
The first is to obtain the driver of your Nic, and the second is to uninstall the driver automatically installed in Win8 and reinstall the driver you downloaded.
There are two ways to get your computer NIC Driver:
On the project under Win8 control panel-sound and hardware-Device Manager-network adapter (there will be more than one item on some PCs, with only letters) right-click and choose Properties to view your Nic or find the NIC driver information, and then search and download it online.
The other method is relatively simple. In the case of dual systems, download the corresponding NIC Driver using the driver genie or driver life on Win7 and store it in a folder on the computer for a while.
The second is to uninstall the NIC Driver and reinstall the downloaded driver.
Go back to the Device Manager, right-click the one under the network adapter, and unmount the device and check "delete device driver.
On the network adapter, right click, scan for hardware changes, and then select another device, select the Ethernet controller, right click, and update the driver software. Select the driver you have downloaded and try the update.
It is very troublesome to write, the principle is to uninstall the original installed driver, manually download your PC's latest NIC driver and then install it, hoping to help you solve the problem.
