Third, the Lumia 520/521/525/526/720 running Windows Phone 8.1 may be smoother, but running Android is a bit hard. Specific fluency performance, we can refer to the first generation of red rice mobile phone.

Before you begin:

Seconds ADB Installer (installed after download);

Windows Device Recovery Tool Installer (installed after download);

Win32 Disk Imager (install after download);

WP Internals;

WP internals needed files for unlocking;

LK Bootloader Installer;

Windows Phone system firmware (only prepare Ffu file, to download please click here, note the corresponding model);

Android ROM (here we provide 6.0.1 based on the Android lineage OS, respectively, fame, glee, zeal three models, as far as I know, fame corresponds to the Lumia 520/521,glee corresponds to the Lumia 525/526,zeal corresponds to the Lumia 720, but the specific package should be used, but also to the recovery of the tip of the subject).

To install a new Windows Phone system:

You can use a lot of tools to install a new Windows Phone system, the author here is the use of WP internals, the following are the specific steps:

Turn the phone on and connect it to your computer via a cable (the computer must be running the Windows system, which is no longer repeated).

Run WP internals. If WP internals successfully identified your phone, you can see your phone's information on its homepage.

If WP internals does not recognize your phone, check the driver status, phone status, and the reliability of the cable connection. The following steps are based on the assumption that your phone has been properly identified by WP internals.

Click on the "Flash" link on the left side of the WP Internals window to find the "flash original FFU" Operation area on the right side of the window, click "Select the Ffu-file to Flash to the phone ..." link, Select the Windows Phone system firmware in the FFU format and click the Flash FFU image button.

Unlock your Windows Phone:

To run WP internals, click the "Unlock Bootloader" link on the left side of the window and click the "OK" button in the action area on the right side of the window.

Your phone will now restart to Flash Mode.

Go back to the operating area of WP internals, and select the following three files or folders (the order can not be messy), respectively:

One, the Windows Phone system firmware (that is, you just gave your phone newly installed Windows phone system to use the Ffu file);

Second, the Lumia Emergency Loaders folder, which is located in the WP internals needed files for unlocking directory;

Back up your Windows Phone:

If you don't want your Lumia to run on Android forever, it's a good idea to make a backup of your phone before you go on.

Run WP internals and click on the "Backup" link on the left side of the window to find the "Backup separate partitions" workspace on the right side of the window.

Select the storage location for the EFIESP, Mainos, and data backup files, then click on the "Backup Phone" button.

Backup takes a little time, please be patient and don't disconnect your phone from your computer.

After the backup is complete, WP internals will prompt as follows:

Three backup files should also be kept properly.

At this point, disconnect your phone from your computer, unplug your phone's battery and reinstall it, and turn it on.

In order to be prepared, we'd better make a full backup.

Keep the phone disconnected from the computer, the hand machine.

Press and hold the camera key while you connect your phone to your computer.

At this point the phone will enter mass storage mode, in the File Explorer, you can see a drive letter, which is the Windows Phone system files.

Run Win32 disk Imager, select the storage location for the backup file and the mass storage drive letter for the Lumia phone, and click the "Read" button to start the backup.

Backup takes a little time, please be patient and don't disconnect your phone from your computer.

Keep the backup file safe, then disconnect the phone from the computer, unplug the phone's battery and reinstall it, and boot.

Brush in the LK Bootloader:

The LK Bootloader installer is available in both 32-and 64-bit types, which corresponds to the number of digits of your computer's operating system.

The LK Bootloader Installer are available for fame, glee and zeal, respectively, for your model selection. "The 64-bit LK Bootloader installer does not offer a version for the Glee (Lumia 525/526), and if your phone is Lumia 525 or Lumia 526, then the LK that applies to the fame (Lumia 520/521) Bootloader and Rom also ".

Turn the phone on, connect to the computer, and double-click the Run script file "Uefi2lk.cmd".
