Hardware: SERVER + Video Acquisition Card + normal TV
Software: Windows XP + Windows Media Encoder 9.0 + peercast
Steps:
1. Connect the TV AV output to the video capture card using the video/audio cable.
2. in Windows Media Encoder, create a session and select broadcast real-time events. In the device options, select the corresponding video capture card. In the broadcast method, select the self-encoder to pull and transfer, set broadcast connection port to 8080 (other unused ports are also used), encoding option to 282 kbps (higher and clearer, there are multiple options), and 282 is of lower quality, however, you can barely accept the encoding bit rate and click Finish.
3. Configure peercast. Select broadcast, fill in http: // localhost: 8080 in the URL, select WMV for type, and click Create relay.
4. Select Start encoding in control.
The LAN latency should be around 15 seconds.
Because peercast only transmits videos from a single point of transmission, some problems may occur during video transmission. Increase the bit rate and Access Machine volume tomorrow to continue testing
