My tomato work method was accidentally seen on the Internet. I often get confused about the time problem because of my bad personality.
Many people suffer from procrastination, that is, they will not solve the problem in the final stage. For example, if you have a week to write your graduation thesis, but you want to have enough time, you can do it in one day based on your own capabilities. You did not care about it in the last six days, in the seventh day, you couldn't calm down to complete this paper, or the paper was far more difficult than you thought. You found a lot of information and drove the night car to complete the paper, when I handed in the paper the next day, you felt very fulfilled, because you only spent more than a day completing the paper ~ Of course, this is lucky. If the workload is too large and you have too high an estimate of yourself, you have to face your face and ask the tutor to delay your time to write your paper.
I believe that I am not alone. Many people do not have a specific concept of time. A day has passed, but I don't know what I did? How can we effectively manage or use time? First, we need to concentrate on solving a certain problem. Second, we need to have a plan (What should we do? Where can this problem be solved? How long? Emergency level ?)
The basic process of the tomato working method consists of five stages:
Planning: determine the activity of the day at the beginning of the day
Tracking: record how many tomato clocks you have completed in a day, and which ones are within your estimation? What is beyond estimation?
Record: After the conclusion, make a statistical analysis of your tomato clock
Processing: Find the appropriate rule in the statistical information
How to display tomato clocks:
1) Kitchen Timer (PS: the timer can also be used. The reason for using the timer is that the ticking of the countdown is easier for people to get nervous, and the spirit is highly concentrated .)
2) Table: lists the tasks to be done on the current day, sorted by priority, including time, location, author, urgent/normal/sudden
3) Start the tomato clock: Generally, a tomato clock period is 25 ~ 30 minutes indicates a complete time clock, which cannot be separated or interrupted in the middle. If interrupted, the tomato clock is regarded as invalid. Once the time is reached, it must be stopped no matter whether the task is completed or not. You can rest for 3 to 3 hours after each tomato clock ends ~ Start the next tomato clock in 5 minutes.
4) Four pomodoros are used as a group of tomatoes. After completing a group of tomatoes, you can rest for about 30 minutes.
Notes
1) Minimize interruptions ~ Some interruptions are completely unnecessary.
2) You must accept a valid schedule, even if there is still one minute to complete the task, but the tomato clock has ended ~ It must be aborted.
