Tomcat sets the default startup Project

Tomcat sets the default startup project, as its name implies, to allow access to our projects by entering ip:8080 in the browser's address bar. Here's how:

1. Open the installation root directory of Tomcat, locate the Tomcat 6.0\conf\server.xml, open the file, locate the <Host> node, add <context path= "docbase=" to the node. /webapps/webtest "debug=" 0 "reloadable=" true "/>.

2. Then put the WebTest project into the Tomcat root directory and delete or rename the root folder in the WebApps folder to another name.

3. Launch Tomcat, enter ip:8080 in the browser, and you will be able to access your project.

Note the value of the Docbase property in the:<context> node is the absolute path to the Web project.
