Windows's "Clean up disk" tool is a very useful tool, but simply executing "Clean up disk" does not fully play the "clean up disk" function.
Here are the instructions for the two "Clean up disk" tools:
SAGESET and SAGERUN
Step 1:
First, Go to Start> execute and enter:
Cleanmgr/sageset: 99
In special mode, the "clean up disk" tool will be executed, and you will find a lot more cleanup options. You can usually delete all the files you want to clean up, after finishing your selection, click "OK 」.
Step 2:
You may be wondering how to click the "clean up disk" tool and clean up the disk, because the SAGESET command only sets "Clean up disk" for you, And now we actually clean up the disk.
Go to Start> execute and enter:
Cleanmgr/sagerun: 99
The disk cleanup tool will work.
Step 3:
In fact, the SAGESET command is used to set the "clean disk" tool. Windows will automatically write down your settings. The next time you want to clean the disk, you only need to execute cleanmgr/sagerun: 99 again, the disk is cleaned up with the same setting.
To change the settings, run cleanmgr/sageset: 99.
