Upgrade to Visual Studio 2008 for a leap. Visual Studio 2008 was recently released, and developers often want to be the first person to install the latest version of their most favored development tools. However, if you make the wrong choice during the upgrade process, you will pay a price for it. Because Jon Galloway and others make sure the upgrade process is a smooth process, and only 10 steps away.
1. First, carefully uninstall all previous releases of the corresponding software and modules
This is one of the most important steps. If you have any previous versions of the. NET Framework 3.5 or Visual Studio 2008, then these software must be uninstalled before installing Visual Studio 2008 RTM. It is also a good idea to close some of the relevant software before you install it:
Close all MS Office applications (such as Outlook, word, etc.)
Turn off internet Explorer
To close all Windows Explorer
Close all other programs that do not need to be opened
