Batch topology processing of point, line, and surface data in ArcGIS
1. Automatic line connection
There are two situations:
A: If the line is interrupted automatically, that is, there is no interval. On the surface, it is a connected line (actually two lines ), you can use the datamanagement tools-generalization-Dissolve tool in arctoolbox for integration. You can set reference fields for integration. Fields with consistent names are automatically merged into one entry. The merged layer retains the reference field attributes, and other attribute fields are deleted.
B: If there is an interval between line segments, you can use the topology toolbar In ArcMap to load the linea line layer to be processed. It is best to copy an empty lineb layer. The field structure is consistent with that of Linea, just clear the content and start editing. Set the target layer to lineb, select the line element in Linea, set the map topology layer to lineb, and click the construct features button to set the tolerance value, the separated line segments within the tolerance are automatically connected.
The disadvantage of the preceding Method B is that the property record is not retained and you need to use the join method to connect the property. Join data from another layer based on spatial location is selected as the join method.

2. Use a line to cut the surface (within the full graph range or within the selected line range)
You can use cut polygon feature in the editor for manual operations, but you can use the construct feature button in the topology toolbar for batch processing.
Method: load the surface layer to be cut and the cut Reference Line layer, start Editor, set map topology as the surface layer, select the cut reference line, and click the construct feature button, in the displayed dialog box, select "split existing features in target layer using selection", as shown in:

3. Map downsizing
Operation process: first strip and then smooth
Start editing In ArcMap, select the generalize tool on the advanced Editor tool, set the tolerance value, and then use the smooth tool of the advanced Editor tool for smoothness.
