Tornado target server configuration

Target Server is a configuration tool used to establish TCP connections between the tornado development environment and the target machine (board or VxWorks installed on Vmware. After the target server is configured, we can download the developed program helloworld in tornado. O download to target server (for example, IP: 192.168.102.88), and enter helloworld. the function test in C can be executed.

 

Open the menu tools --- target server --- configuration page

 

Input:Target name/IP name, for example, 192.168.10.88 is the IP address of the remote VMWare virtual environment or target board.(If bootrom is installed on Vmware, it will automatically download the compiled VxWorks image from the FTP server and start VxWorks)

Bootrom can be used to configure the FTP user name and password.

 

Target Server properties: Select back end

1. Set wdbrpc for available back

2. Set the core file and symbols file to the absolute path of the VxWorks file compiled during project creation, including the file name. The file is the same as the VxWorks file downloaded to the target machine.

 

3. Execute launch to establish a TCP connection with the destination machine 192.168.10.88.

4. In the top left corner of the tornado tool menu, select the name of the IP address of the target machine and enter the shell environment of the target machine 192.168.10.88.

5. Click Download object file or boot image in the image download menu, and select a user-developed and compiled. o file, such as helloworld. O, to download it to the target machine 192.168.10.88.
