TL-WR2543N has the function of network share management to help small and medium-sized enterprises and home users quickly and easily build file servers and media servers. And because the configuration is very simple, can be said to be 0 configuration, even if there is no relevant it knowledge of people can easily ride, maintenance is very simple and convenient. As shown in the figure above, the USB storage device is connected to the tl-wr2543n via a USB cable, and there are three ways to access the USB storage device, as described below.

One, network share server

The LAN computer under the tl-wr2543n can access the contents of the USB storage device in the IE browser address bar or the input 192.168.1.1 in the Run input box. As shown in the following figure.

Note: 192.168.1.1 is the tl-wr2543n default LAN port IP.

The Volume1 in the above illustration is the tl-wr2543n recognized partition name, and tl-wr2543n can support up to 8 partitions. You can access all the files on your storage device by opening the Volume1 folder. Isn't it easy? But some users might think that simplicity is simple, but it's not safe. 1. In the Web browser input 192.168.1.1, enter the login username and password are admin, open tl-wr2543n Management Interface, click the menu network Sharing-network sharing management, as shown in the following figure.

2. Check using password access to open password access, automatically effective. Accessing 192.168.1.1 at this point will eject the username and Password Input window, as shown in the following figure.

3. Enter user name and password. The default is admin, click OK, you can access. If you need to modify the default account password and new account, please refer to the Appendix section.

Second, FTP server

tl-wr2543n the LAN computer in the IE browser address bar or run the input box

ftp://192.168.1.1, press ENTER to eject the FTP login window as shown in the following image.

Note: Other FTP client software is also available.

Enter username and password, the default is admin, click Login, successfully access FTP server, as shown in the following figure.

As shown in the figure above, the default open FTP server can be accessed, but there is nothing in the server, let's explain how to add content to the FTP server.

1. Enter 192.168.1.1 In the Web browser, enter login username and password are admin, open tl-wr2543n management interface. Open the menu network share--ftp server, as shown in the following figure.

Service Status: The FTP server is enabled by default and can be turned off by clicking the Deactivate button on this page.

Allow WAN access: default is not enabled and the FTP server can be accessed by the enabled WAN-side host.

FTP port: The default is Port 21, or it can be modified to another port.

WAN Port Address: tl-wr2543n WAN Port address.

2. Click to add a new folder, as shown in the following figure.

3. Define the name of the Add folder (such as music) and select the folder (such as music) that you want to add, click Save, add complete, as shown in the following figure. (If you want to add all the folders in the storage, please check the selection directly)

4. Visit ftp://192.168.1.1 again at this point, as shown in the following figure.

Double-click the folder music to access the contents of the folder, if you want to add additional folders, follow the steps above to add. If you need to modify the password for the default account or create a new user, please refer to the Appendix section.

Note: The FTP folder can support up to 10 folders added.
