Attention

1, the primary and secondary routers do not connect network cable;

2, WDS Bridge only need to set up on the secondary router, the following operations are computer connections on the secondary router settings.

Before you set up WDS, verify the wireless signal name, wireless password, and wireless channel of the primary router, using the following parameters for example.

The LAN port where the operating computer is connected to the secondary router. Open the browser, clear the Address bar and enter the router's administrative address tplogin.cn (or 192.168.1.1), enter the router's management password, login admin interface.

Note: The administrator password is the password that you set when you first use the router, and if you forget, reset the router and set it up again.

After entering the management interface, click on the network parameters > LAN port settings, modify the IP address and the main router in the same network segment but not conflict (such as the main router IP address is 192.168.1.1, then modify the secondary router for 192.168.1.2), save and restart the router.

Note: After reboot, use the modified IP address to login to the management interface of the secondary router.

1, modify the wireless settings and open the WDS scan signal

Use the modified IP address to log on to the Router management interface, click Wireless Settings > Wireless basic settings, set the same SSID number and channel as the wireless name of the main router, tick to open WDS, click Scan.

Note: The sub-router's SSID, wireless password can be different from the main router, if you need to implement roaming, you must be the same as the primary router.

2, select the main router signal

Locate the wireless signal name (SSID) of the primary router in the Scan page and click Connect.

Note: If the primary router signal is not scanned, verify that the primary router is on, and try to reduce the distance between the primary and secondary routers.

3, enter the main router wireless password

Select the same key type as the main router, enter the wireless password for the main router in the key, and click Save.

4. Set up the wireless password of the auxiliary router

Click Wireless Settings > Wireless security settings, choose the same encryption as the main router, in the PSK password set the same wireless password as the main router, click on the bottom of the page to save.

In the router's management interface, click Run Status, observe the Wireless status > WDS status, and the success indicates that the bridging WDS Setup was successful.

Note: After DHCP shutdown is successful, be sure to restart the router, click System Tools > Reboot the router to reboot.
