Unable to search for the extended device when adding the extended device. The prompt is as follows:

Correct method for adding the extender:
1. Power up the router and work properly.
2. Enter the logon password and click "add new device" on the logon page, as shown in the following figure:
3. Plug the extender into the power outlet, and observe that the indicator lights of the extender keep flashing slowly. If the HyFi extender has the Config button, press the Config button after the power outlet is inserted. Click
Next StepStart searching.
4. Wait for the HyFi router to search for the expansion device and click
JoinAnd click
Complete. The extended indicator is on.
Note:: If you need to add multiple extenders (a TL-H28RD can connect up to seven extenders), repeat the preceding steps.
Check whether the Config button is on the HyFi extender. If yes, insert the extender into the power outlet and press the Config button after the power-on is complete (when the indicator light remains in a transient state), as shown in the following figure:
HyFi routers and extenders need to be connected to the same electric meter to avoid excessive air switches between them (some air switches cause high signal transmission loss ). Data is transmitted between the router and the extender through a wire. If the environment contains high-power appliances, poor power line quality, and power line passing length, the problem that the extender cannot be found may occur.
Solution: We recommend that you plug the HyFi router and expansion device into the same plug-in or adjacent power interface. After the search is successfully added, insert it into the actual location.
If you follow the above steps, HyFi router still cannot find the extended device. We recommend that you restore both the HyFi router and the extended device to the factory settings.
Reset method: When the power is on, hold down the Reset key on the HyFi router and expansion device with a sharp object such as a paper clip. If the indicator is on several times, the Reset is successful (hold down the Reset hole for about 5-10 seconds ).
After the vro is reset, follow the Settings Wizard again to set the vro.
