The support for image transparency in midp1.0 is not clear, but the Nokia API provides great support. The image. createimage (string) and image. createimage (byte [], Int, INT) methods in midp1.0 can be transparent in Nokia mobile phones.
In addition, when you want to obtain a small image of each slice from a group of larger slices of the same size, it is usually implemented in midp1.0 as follows:
Image Source; // The Source image
Image clip = image. createimage (clipwidth, clipheight );
Graphics G = clip. getgraphics ();
G. drawimage (source, posx, Posy, top | left );
However, the standard implementation of midp1.0 does not ensure that the image obtained through the image. createimage (int w, int h) method is transparent. Nokia's own API solves this problem:
Image IMG = com. Nokia. Mid. UI. directutils. createimage (100,100, 0x00000000 );
AboveCodeA 100*100 variable image is created and its background color is transparent. The third parameter indicates the argb value of the color.
