Trend DS9.6 Deployment Steps and Considerations

1. Install VShield Manager, set up your network connection, and check your VM network settings if your browser does not open the VShield management interface.

2. Deploy Dsm-db.

3. Deploy DSM and remember to set up ocdb. It is not recommended to install the relay at installation time.

4. Manually install DSA on DSM and restart DSM after installation

5. Reactivate DSM to enable trunking.

6. Deploy Dsva.

7. If ESXi stores legacy filter drivers for previous DS deployments. Require SSH login to execute command:

   ESXCLI software Vib Remove--man********-n DVFILTER-DSA

   Then restart ESXi.

8. Add DSVA information to the Hosts file in DSM

9. The console opens Dsva and the account password is DSVA.

   Sudo-s

   Dsva

   Vi/etc/hosts

   Add DSM and VShield Manager information

   Vi/etc/sysconfig/clock

   Modify into Asia/shanghai

   Save after exiting.

   Execute Rm-f/etc/localtime

   Ln-sf/usr/share/zoneinfo/asia/shanghai/etc/localtime

10. Restart Dsva
