A hidden partition in Windows 7 means that after Windows 7 is installed, a 100MB or 200MB hidden partition is generated before the system partition, which causes the system to fail to boot if it is accidentally deleted. This partition can also cause other problems, such as some ghost backup tools not functioning properly, and so on. So what should we do to avoid hidden partitions?
It's really easy to avoid the system automatically creating hidden partitions. Whenever you install a select partition, do not select a blank area, but instead select a partition that is formatted as NTFS. If you must select a blank area, remember to select the space immediately after the manual format, and then proceed to the next installation, do not let the system itself format! This prevents the system from automatically formatting and creating hidden partitions.
