The virtual machines are using VMware Workstation 10.0 and are experiencing 64-bit systems for the first time in a virtual machine. When you create a new virtual machine, the runtime is alerted by VMware Workstation: This host supports Intel Vt-x, but Intel Vt-x is disabled.
The original picture is as follows:
The virtual machine has been configured to use a 64-bit client operating system. However, 64-bit operations cannot be performed.
This host supports Intel Vt-x, but Intel Vt-x is disabled.
If Intel Vt-x is disabled in the bios/firmware setting, or if the host has never restarted since the setting was changed, Intel Vt-x may be disabled.
(1) Confirm that Intel vt-x is enabled in the bios/firmware settings and "Trusted Execution" is disabled.
(2) If one of the two bios/firmware settings has changed, reboot the host.
(3) If you have never restarted the host after installing VMware Workstation, please reboot.
(4) Update the bios/firmware of the host to the latest version.
For more detailed information, see http://vmware.com/info?id=152.
The reminder message is clear enough to open Intel Vt-x in the BIOS (it should be Intel Virtualization technology). Limited to the BIOS can not be screenshots demo, and different BIOS settings may be different details, the following just say Jeff on his computer solution:
1, shutdown, boot, in the brand logo appears when the BIOS in the startup key (generally under the logo below), into the BIOS settings page;
2, select Configuration, and then select the Intel virtual technology, this option should be disabled (closed);
3. Change the disabled (closure) to Enabled (open);
4, save the settings, restart can be.
