Troubleshooting of battery manager added under Fedora8

Can't access ACPI events in/var/run/acpid. socket! Make sure the ACPI subsystem is working and the acpid daemon is running.

Check the VM settings when ACPI is normal.

Check the Report battery information to guest! Restart Fedora 8 and add the battery manager after the power indicator appears in the lower right corner of the desktop.
