If there is an installation disk or installation file, find the server folder in the file, there is a fonts-chinese-3.02-12-el5.noarch.rpm file (like the fonts-Chinese name), copy it to the local, and then decompress, in the extracted file, find URS-> share-> fonts-> Chinese-> TrueType, and upload the two files (Ukai. TTF, uming. copy to ghostscript and typel files under/usr/share/fonts/default in the local file system. Select Chinese as the language in the control panel.

If no disk or installation file is installed, copy simsun to Windows/font in the Windows operating system. the TTC file (in simplified Chinese characters) should be stored in the/usr/share/fonts/default file of the Linux system.

You need to log out of the system once for the font to take effect.

I installed redhat5.4 in the Virtual Machine and tried it before sharing it.
