ECLIPSE:IBM spent $40 million to develop the IDE (Integrated development environment). The first edition of 1.0 was released in November 2001 and was subsequently gradually welcomed. Eclipse is written in Java and should be executed on any platform. But, strictly speaking, Eclipse is not cross-platform because it is built using the native graphics of the job platform.
