Turn off Word2007 floating toolbar

A floating toolbar is a very human feature in Word2007, and when the text in the Word2007 document is selected, a semitransparent State floating toolbar appears if the user moves the mouse pointer to the right of the selected text. The toolbar contains commands for formatting text, such as setting the font, font size, color, center alignment, and so on. Moving the mouse pointer over the floating toolbar will make the commands fully visible, allowing you to easily format text.

If you don't need to display a floating toolbar in the Word2007 document window, you can turn it off in the Word Options dialog box, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window, and click the Office Button → Word Options button, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, cancel the Show mini Toolbar on selection check box on the Standard tab, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2.
