Easypr-java

Introduction Introduction

Easypr-java is the Java version of LIURUOZE/EASYPR. EASYPR is a Chinese open-source license plate recognition system whose goal is to become a simple, efficient and accurate license plate recognition engine.

Suppose we have the following original image, we need to identify the intermediate license plate characters and colors:

After EASYPR's first step in the license plate detection (platedetect), we obtained the tiles containing only the license plates in the original image:

Next, we perform the OCR process on the tiles, called character recognition (charsrecognize), in EASYPR. We got a string containing the license plate color and character:

"Blue Card: Su EUK722"
