[Tus Note] In ubuntu12.04 and 11.10, Ping eclipse to the Quick Start bar.

1. Create a file:

gedit ~/.local/share/applications/opt_eclipse.desktop

2. Copy the following content to the open document. You must edit the icon and exec items, which correspond to the eclipse icon path and Application Path respectively.

3. Enter the following command

nautilus ~/.local/share/applications

4. Right-click the opt_eclipse file and choose Properties> permissions to select allow.
Execution... option, now it has become an eclipse startup icon, pull it to the Quick Start bar, lock it on it, and start it next time
