In this tutorial, I use Antergos Linux with GNOME 3.18, but these steps are applicable to any GNOME 3 Linux release. At the same time, Antergos uses the Numix topic as the default topic. Step 1

Go to system settings. Click the upper-right corner. In the drop-down list, click the system settings icon.

Here, select the Shortcuts label and select Navigation in the left-side Navigation Pane. Scroll down to find Hide all normal windows. You will see that it has been disabled.

Click "Hide all normla windows. You will see that it becomes a New accelerator. Now, no matter which key you press, it will be designated as the shortcut key for displaying the desktop.

If you accidentally press the wrong key combination, it will be disabled if you press the unbutton. Click and use the required key combination.

Once the combination key is set, you only need to disable the system settings. You do not need to save the settings because the changes take effect immediately. In this example, I use Ctrl + Super + D to stay consistent with my usage habits in Ubuntu Unity.
