Tutorial on deploying Webapi in Windows server2008r2

There has been a deployment of asp.net mvc or WEBAPI programs in Win8 or Windows server2012, and no problems have been identified. Today in win2008 asp.net webapi deployment, the page displays 404 errors when accessing the API. The following steps will resolve the ASP.net webapi deployment issue in win2008.

Add Mappings

In IIS, select the WEBAPI site you want to set up, double-click Handler mappings, as shown in the following figure:

To add a request map to the WEBAPI in the pop-up box:

Request Path : API/*

executable :%windir%\microsoft.net\framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_isapi.dll, note the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit paths.

To modify the pipe mode of an application pool

Change the piping mode of the WEBAPI application pool to 经典

update dll

Map After adding, visit the site, will not report 404 errors, but will report some DLL file failed to load, a total of 4, the name is as follows:

• System.Web.WebPages.Deployment.dll
• MICR Osoft. Web.Infrastructure.dll
• System.Web.WebPages.Razor.dll
• System.Web.WebPages.dll

Copy the above four DLL files to the WEBAPI site to the bin directory, resolving the problem
