Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a macro language of Visual Basic that can be used primarily to extend the application functionality of Windows, especially Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, and so on.
Excel documents developed with Excel VBA need to turn on Excel's macro functionality when running in Excel, otherwise the VBA Automation feature of this document will be completely masked and the document's functionality cannot be implemented.
Therefore, before you open these Excel program files, you need to set the security of your Excel macro (set to be permanently valid and not set again on the same computer).
In the Excel2003 version, you can follow these steps:
1, click Tools--"Macros"--"security" on the menu bar of Excel, and open the Security dialog box shown in the following illustration.
2, in the Security Level tab, set the macro security level to Medium or low. It is recommended to use the "medium" level, which does not degrade your security, and you still have the right to actively choose whether or not to run any macro file.
When the macro security level is set successfully, when you open the Excel program file again, the message box appears as shown in the following illustration, and then click on the "Enable Macros" button to make this program work:
In the excel2007/2010 version, you can follow these steps:
1, click the Excel Office Button (version 2010 as the file button)--Excel options, open the Excel Options tab shown in the following illustration, select Trust Center in the list on the left, and click the Trust Center Settings button in the window that appears on the right.
2, open the Trust Center tab, select Macro settings on the left, select the "Disable all macros, and send notifications" option in the window that appears on the right, and click OK to complete.
After the macro security level is set successfully, when you open the Excel program file again, a warning message appears in the InfoBar (above the formula bar), and then click the Options button to open the Office Security Options dialog box, where you can select the "Enable this content" option and make sure that the program works correctly.
