The Tools Options bar displays the following information:
You can open the Info panel by selecting the Window menu, clicking the Info command, or pressing the F8 key. As shown in the following illustration:
A: Displays the measured angle value. If it is a line of measurement, the angle of inclination is displayed, and if two lines are measured, the angle of the measurement line is displayed.
L1: Displays the length of the 1th line of measurement.
L2: Displays the length of the 2nd line of measurement.
X and Y: Displays the coordinate values of the current mouse when measuring.
W and H: Displays the horizontal and vertical distances between the measured start and end positions. Used when testing for horizontal or vertical distances.
Tips
First hold down the SHIFT key and then drag the mouse to create a horizontal, vertical, or 45-degree line of measurement.
After you create the measurement line, place the cursor over the end of the measurement line, press and move the mouse, move the position of the endpoint, and place the cursor over the measurement line, where you can move the line of measurement.
