dreamweaver| Tutorial | Web page Transition is when the viewer enters or leaves the page, the page presents different refresh effects, such as scrolling, blinds and so on. This way your Web page will look more dynamic, but also pay attention to enough, otherwise too fancy changes will easily arouse the viewers disgust.

It is not difficult to achieve this function, just two steps.

First open the page with Dreamweaver, and then click Insert\head\meta (Insert/File header label/meta), a dialog box will pop up as shown in the following illustration.

Select the Http-equivalent option in the Drop-down List of attribute options in the dialog box, and type Page-enter in value: to indicate a page transition effect when you enter a page. In content: Type Revealtrans (duration=4,transition=2), duration=4 indicates that the duration of the Web page transition effect is 4 seconds, Transition represents the transition effect, and a value of 2 indicates a circular contraction.

When you have finished typing, click OK and save the disk. This way we can see the effect when we click on a hyperlink to enter this page. In addition, there are more than 20 kinds of effect for you to choose, as long as the value of transition to the corresponding effect of the code can be, the specific effects and settings as shown in the following table:
