Two connection modes of distribution frame

There are two main ways to connect the distribution frame. One is cross connection and the other is mutual connection. The interconnection and cross-connection allow us to locate the communication line or place the claw to different parts of the building, so that we can easily manage the communication line and facilitate the insertion and removal at mobile terminals.

The distribution frame is mainly used to manage devices and is a very important component of the management subsystem. If the distribution frame is missing in the Integrated Wiring, the front-end information points are directly connected to the switch. If a cable is faulty, it may face the risk of re-wiring. In addition, if there is no distribution frame, the management will be chaotic, and Multiple Plugging may cause damage to the switch port. The distribution frame solves this problem by replacing the jumper to achieve better management.

To sum up, the distribution frame is so important that different distribution frame connection methods often use different devices. Do you know the connection methods of the distribution frame? Today, I will explain how the distribution frame is connected.

In fact, there are two main ways to connect the distribution frame. One is cross connection and the other is mutual connection. The interconnection and cross-connection allow us to locate the communication line or place the claw to different parts of the building, so that we can easily manage the communication line and facilitate the insertion and removal at mobile terminals.

1. Cross join

The so-called cross connection in the distribution frame, and the cross is installed on two distribution frames in the horizontal link. One end of the horizontal cable is connected to the information outlet of the work room, one end is connected to the distribution frame of the wiring room, and the network equipment is connected to another distribution frame through the soft connection. Then, connect two distribution frames through multiple plug-ins to facilitate management of network users, cross-connection can be divided into two modes: Dual-point management and dual-Link Management, single-point management and dual-link management.

1. Dual-point management and dual-connection

The dual-point management system has a device in the entire building and a management subsystem on each floor to manage information nodes on the floor, management Subsystems on each floor are connected by trunk cables and equipment. Because each information node has two manageable units, it is called a dual-point management dual-Connection System and is suitable for cabling environments with high floors and multiple information points. The dual-point management and dual-connection wiring make it easy for the customer to change the line at the on-site connection without using dedicated tools or professional technical staff, simply using a simple jumper, complex change tasks can be completed.

2. Single Point management and dual-connection

The management subsystem should adopt single-point management and dual-hand management. Single-point management is located near the switch or interconnect devices (for jumper Management) between devices ),, set a wiring area on each floor as the InterConnection (InterConnection) area. If there is no wiring room, the interconnection area can be placed on the wall between users. This method is called single-point dual-connection mode. It has the advantage of easy wiring and is suitable for scenarios with high floors and many information points.

It should be noted that if more than five twisted pair wires are used for cabling in a building, the distance (The farthest distance between information nodes and devices) cannot exceed 100 m, otherwise, this method cannot be used.

3. Single Point management (spof)

The single point management system has only one management unit to manage various information points, as shown in. A single point of management (spof) ticket is connected to only one device in the whole building as a CrossConnection area. The information points in the building are directly connected to the device point-to-point, which is suitable for low floors, A wiring system with fewer information points.

2. Interconnection

Mutual connection refers to the way in which the horizontal Cable End is connected to the information outlet of the work room, the second end is connected to the configuration rack of the wiring question, and the distribution rack and network equipment are connected through a soft line. The front panel of the Distribution Frame Used in the connection mode is usually a port of RJ 45. Therefore, the RJ-45-to-RJ-45 is used to connect the network equipment to the distribution frame.
