Two Methods for installing software in Linux

1. Yum command:

Yum install software name

This command will automatically access the network, automatically find software suitable for the system on the network, download and install.

After installation, you can view the location using the which + software name.

 

2. RPM command:

Rpm-IVH software name

This command is mainly used for local installation, and the software name is the full name (you can first CD to the current directory ).

Rpm-QA: You can view the software installed in the system.
