Two Methods for mysql to listen to multiple ports

Mysql can listen to multiple ports in two ways. 1. Use mysqld_multi of MYSQL to configure multiple [mysqldN] In my. cnf, such as [mysqld0] and [mysqld1]. 2. Create multiple configuration files and corresponding directories, such as my.3306.cnf and my.3307.cnf. The first method has the advantage of centralized management of a configuration file (but it generally does not listen to more than three ports on the same server ). However, it is not convenient to customize each port instance (the same file is changed after all ). The second method is convenient for customizing each port instance. If there are no special requirements, use the second method for convenience.
