I. Solutions to SQL Server 2000 Installation File suspension errors
This problem occurs when you are installing Microsoft SQL Server 2000:
PreviousProgramTo install a file that has been suspended on the installation computer, you must restart the computer before running the installation program.
However, after searching for half a day, I did not find any program, and I had to restart the Windows system. I have not installed SQL Server on this machine. Look at the software installed in the system and check the information. The simplest solution is:
1. Open "start" --> "run", enter "Regedit", and open the Registry Editor;
2. Find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Session Manager directory;
3. Delete the "pendingfilerenameoperations" key value (this key value is a temporary project of the installer, as long as the corresponding application is cleared) and close the registry editor. Reinstall SQL Server 2000.
Solve the problem! The main cause of this problem is that the installation process may be interrupted during the previous installation of SQL Server 2000 or other software (but mainly Microsoft software, therefore, the installation information is retained in the system, resulting in the inability to continue the installation.

2: execute the following statement in the query Analyzer:
