Two solutions for IE6 not caching background images

Source: Internet
Author: User

By default, ie does not cache background images. Therefore, when you move the mouse over a button or image with a CSS background, the image will be reloaded, increasing unnecessary requests and increasing the burden on the server.

The following are two solutions. The first solution is recommended.

Method 1: Add the following JavaScript code to the page.Code

<! --[IfIE 6]> <SCRIPT type = "text/JavaScript">Try{
Document.exe ccommand ('backgroundcacache ',False,True);
}Catch(E ){}</SCRIPT> <! [Endif] -->

Method 2: CSS expressions

Html{Filter:Expression(document.exe ccommand ("backgroundimagecache", false, true ));}
